By way of South Bend and Muncie, IN, and Tulsa OK, I now call Chapel Hill, NC home. Growing up immersed in the culture of college athletics (the University of Notre Dame, Ball State University, the University of Tulsa, and the University of North Carolina) I have always had a passion for the pageantry and competition of gameday. As a student worker in the Notre Dame Athletic Department, and now, as the president of The Leprechaun Legion, Notre Dame’s student spirit group and voice to the athletic department, I dedicate much of my time to improving the student support and stadium atmosphere at all Notre Dame athletic events.

As the oldest sister to three younger, athletic siblings,
going to sporting events and being a #1 fan has been a core part of my life for
as long as I can remember. As a student at Notre Dame, I’ve had the opportunity
to pursue this sports passion, becoming closely involved with college
athletics. I’ve spent the past two years working as an event marketing student
worker in the ND Athletic Department, assisting with projects ranging from
interacting with fans during game promotions to playing music at hockey, softball,
and soccer games. I also serve as the Executive Vice President of the
Leprechaun Legion, Notre Dame’s student spirit group and voice to the Athletic
Department. As a leader of this organization, I am fully dedicated to improving
the stadium atmosphere at all ND sporting events as well as strengthening
student support for all of our teams. To further express my enthusiasm for
college football, last fall I was a senior writer for the ND page of the Chat
Sports blog. This year I’ve combined both my college football blogging
expertise with my knowledge of sports marketing to co-create the Gameday Guru team.
